Reproducible sample method

  1. Condition representative garments in the intended production environment and record fiber content, dye behavior, temperature, and relative humidity.
  2. Print the approved control file while logging pretreatment, print mode, white layer, cure surface temperature, dwell time, and pressure.
  3. Retain an unwashed control, condition the test sample for the agreed interval, then wash and dry it using the named protocol.
  4. Evaluate under the agreed light source, record instrument data where available, photograph the same marked areas, and document pass or fail against the pre-agreed threshold.
Readiness checklist

Evidence that should accompany an innovation decision

Facts about standards, safety, ink chemistry, software, and regional support must come from current product and contractual documents. This page does not infer certifications that were not included in the supplied brand assets.

Technical trade-offs to make explicit

DTG versus DTF

DTG may reduce transfer handling and suit qualified garments; DTF can widen placement and substrate options. Film, powder, pressing, storage, pretreatment, humidity, and hand feel shift the balance.

Speed versus cure margin

A faster print stage does not guarantee acceptable output if ink coverage increases drying or curing demand. Measure the complete cell and verify the garment surface temperature.

Automation versus exceptions

Job automation can reduce routine touches, but incorrect metadata, garment picking errors, network interruption, and failed quality checks still require named recovery paths.

Known evaluation limits: results can change with fabric lot, dye migration, optical brighteners, pretreatment deposition, ambient humidity, nozzle condition, artwork coverage, cure equipment calibration, operator loading, and the selected wash protocol. A test on one combination does not establish universal performance.
